Author's Word

I had thought about writing this book when I was in 12th. I still have different versions of it in 4 different diaries. Every time I start writing, I end up with new versions of the first two chapters and that's it. This is my fifth attempt into writing it and hopefully I would go beyond the first two chapters. Probably blogging would help me achieve what MS-Word couldn't get me through. This story is a little bit influenced from my school life and a lot of it is just the flight of my imagination. I know there might have been a lot of stories of IIT aspirants and their love life and the world doesn't need another Chetan Bhagat, I just want to convey my inner feeling for the guy I couldn't stop thinking about for a second since the day I got to know him. Its not something new for a girl to fantasize about a boy who is already the heart beat of a million, but I skip a heart beat every time I think of him. Absence makes the heart go fonder and to get over with my "ever growing fonder for him" feelings, I need to write down every bit of it. I wanted to write a book that would have got published and rated as the National Best seller and probably get me a handsome reward and a booker award but I realised, till the time I considered writing as a career option, my words didn't go beyond the realms of practicality. Inside a glass case, everything outside is as clear as the transparency of the glass. Dreams remain unrealistic so long as the dreamer gathers courage to break open the glass case and find his way in the moonlight before the break of the dawn. I hope my experience writing this book will be good, hopefully I will discover the real Vasu before the break of the dawn.
